i feel there is somethiing i have to tell you all when i was 18 i was diagnosed
of having epilepsy started on the drugs and the more drugs i was given the more
fits i had its too long to go into the whlole story but i was taking 15 anti-convulsants a day and i was suffering 30 to 40 fits each day it was a life
of hell and i was very poorly in 1990 i was told by a proffessor i didnt have epilepsy the fits had all been induced by the drugs i was taking. i was very
angry to think 12 years had been robbed from me and i was also very upset
because i could not have a family. I fought a case for 9 years but i didnt get anywhere because all my records went missing i didnt even get a penny
i am now 44 and i have lupus there is a chance it has been caused by the drugs
i took but i will never know , if anyone is in doubt of the seizures they are having please see someone i dont want anyone else to suffer like i did this went on for
12 years i was 18 when diagnosed and 30 when i was told i wasnt epileptic,
i drive now and i havent had a fits since the drugs where stopped in 1990
i am still agrieved but it is going less i will help anyone where i can and
if i can stop this happening again then this is my purpose, close friends and
family think i should pursue a case but it is behind me now and i dont want
anymore stress especially with having lupus.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOU REPLY.IVE BEEN EPILEPTIC (I THINK) SINCE I WAS 7 IM 36YRS OLD NOW.I HAVE WONDERED ABOUT BEING MISSED DIAGNOSED? I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT ANTI-CONVULSANTS AND MY FITS WERE NO WORSE OR BETTER SO I DECIDED I WOULDNT TAKE THEM,AS THEN AT LEAST I COULD BE MORE COMPUS- MENTUS THEN.AND THEY MADE ME VERY ILL TOO.I HAVE MY FITS DAY AND NIGHT,MY GRAN-MAL HAVE ONLY EVER HAPPENED VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING "DONT KNOW IF THATS RELAVENT?" BUT THANK GOODNESS SOMEONE HAS BEEN WITH ME EVERY TIME IVE HAD ONE.
