The strangest thing just happened to my left ear! It feels plugged up, like always, but just now, I noticed that when I was breathing thru my nose, I could feel and hear the air going thru my ear. Has that ever happened to anyone else? What could that be? ETD? Then for a split second, my ear actually felt unplugged. I have been plugged up opn the left side of my nose for a couple of days too. Weird!

that happens to my left ear all the time and sometimes to my right. i have been dizzy for a year but i have tried a lot of treatments for ETD and i dont think that is why i am dizzy in my case, but it may be in yours. try this, stick your lower jaw out and move it from side to side and up and down while humming, and maybe it will open up the tube again. it does for me everytime. what kind of dizzy do you feel and for how long? i have a swaying, unsteady, sometimes lightheaded, like walking on a waterbed dizzy for a year. docs have no answers. what have you tried?

I have had this for 5 months now. Started with vertigo and nystagmus attack. Now I still have off and on lightheadedness, off-balance feeeling. Sometimes I do feel like I am falling towards the right and that I might pass out. All the other stuff too. Sensitive eyes, get shaky and weird feeling. Esp. bothered while walking, driving and being in the store. I have been to my GP, ENT, allergist, cardiologist and I am now seeing a neuro-oto. I have not really had any treatment yet, since I am waiting for a "real" diagnosis. I have tried antihistamines for the allergies and sudafed for the plugged up ears. Also Nasonex nasal spray. Some days I feel pretty good and then others I feel lousy! Also, tired and easily stressed! What about you? I will try that ear/jaw thing. I used to hold my nose and blow out to unplug, but the doctor said that was not good to do. :nono:
