Last year my 9 year daughter was diagnosed by a psycologist with Gerneralized Anxiety Disorder with Seperation Anxiety Disorder. She had therapy once a week all year. She has all of the symptoms on the link through this website.

It all started last year after Thanksgiving break. She cries uncontroably, cold sweats, tiredness, almost like a panic attack. Most people think she just wines a little and we let her stay home, but that is not it at all. Mental disorders runs in my family and my husbands: panic disorder, manic depression, Bipolar Disorder, depression.

This year has not been as bad as last year. These last few days she had anxiety episodes. I feel so stressed out when this happens. I feel mad at her, I don't want to feel that way. I also feel so bad for her. She worries terribly about everything. She has not had any therapy this year.

Is there anyone else who goes through the same thing with your son/daughter? It's nice to know that we are not the only ones going through this.

Thx for reading
