My son turned 2 in December and about a month ago he started having episodes that we cannot completely explain. He has had 3 of these and they have been when he is upset. But they do not always happen evertime that he is upset. They have all been approx. 2 weeks apart. His mouth is open and his eyes turned up, he does not breath, he turns blue, he is not responsive, his body is tight, and then he usually falls limp within 30-60 seconds. I have a sister that has epilepsy and I have seen her have many grand mal seizures and some of what is happening to him I feel like could be seizure activity. Am I just making this conection because my sister has this or does this sound like seizure activity. I have a consultation with his pediatrician Wed. and I am hoping for some answers, but I would appreciate any advice or insight into this matter. I am looking for all the information that I can find.

Thank you.
Jennifer

My son has had seizures since he was 6 months old and what you're describing definately sounds like seizures to me. I would suggest getting him to the doctor and explain what you're seeing to him.

Good Luck to you and your son.

Sherri.
