feeling is just about gone.........its raining outside but the sun is shining in my world right now!!!!!!!! Thank God, and thank all of you!!!

That is great news! Being from CO, I like the rain...cleansing. Perhaps if I lived in Seattle, I'd be clean enough. Good for you Mr.Grateful! Keep sharing the good news.

Mr. G,
I am soooo happy for you. Hey, you are right on time with me... six days to begin to feel a little like a dope free HUMAN BEING! It just gets better.

Pillz, if we can do it so can you. It is great that you have a support group on these boards and in the 'fellowship,' that was what helped me stick to my guns the most. What a great start you have made by building that foundation. You will make it and know freedom again. Hey, don't you LOVE the promises? They keep me 'coming back!' :D

CONGRATS!!!

Wow.....you guys are great.......yhe first thing I do when I come to work is check email and then delete all the solicitations from online pharmacies and come to this board.......just knowing that there are people who know what its like to be going through addiction and recovery is so helpful. Its really my only outlet.....I know I should take in a meeting.....I will....JT

Hey Mr. G! WOW, I'm SO happy, excited, elated, etc., etc. for you! Now you have to recap for me, okay?! I've been off the boards for awhile now (many, many "issues")...but I do miss you all, and I want to hear how long you were on the Sub., how low you went before stopping completely, etc. Give me all the details! I'm scared TO DEATH to stop, but seeing posts like yours are so inspiring! I'm sorry to ask you to so many questions (especially since I could go back and search for the answers, I'm sure)...but due to my extremely limited computer access, I wanted to ask you in this particular post. Please keep updating daily on how you are feeling/doing....and know that I'm behind you 100%, just as everyone else here is! Keep up the awesome work, my friend...and God Bless! I'm SO proud of you!

No problem CM, I made the decision to go on sub in early Feb '05 after reading these very boards.....I went March 19, (I think) started at 16 mgs ( 8mg 2x daily) 4 days 8mg once a day 5 days, 4mgs for a couple maybe three weeks, then 2 mgs for about 2 weeks, then 1.5 for 5 days, 1mg for 5 days and my last day was April 21, 2005. I was mezzo-mezzo Friday (4/22) bad Sat, bad Sunday, fair to poor Mon & Tues, but Wednesday the dope sickness was gone.......almost.......even today Day 8 my stomachs a tad queezy, but the jonesin is over, I'm in love with life again and all is well,......JT

PS My Doctor is very compassionate and totally understands addicts and gave me some support meds to just kind of knock me out over last weekend, it helped a lot.

It sure makes it nice to come here and read post as yours,
today I felt so good about myself and looking forward for tomorrow to see how I do.
Well anyway keep it up and post as often as you can to let us all know how your doing and remember not to go back to the meds because you now are drug free and you must stay like that :bouncing:
