Mom,

I have a question. Do the doctors prescribe Sub for patients with true pain issues for people who have addictive personalities?. THat is my delima I have 3 herniated cervical disc's and a congenital fusion and cord inpingment. The problem is I can't take my pills as prescribed?

My doctor told me that it is used a lot over seas for pain management. It is not FDA approved here for *that* particular use, it's used here to treat opiod addiciton. But, it DOES have opiod in it, so it does help with pain. It has helped me just as well as the oxy and the hydro. The good thing is that is has Naloxone in it. So, if you take ANY other opiates on top of the suboxone, it will throw you into immediate withdrawl's, so you don't WANT to take any other pills. Also, if you take to many, it will make you very sick to your stomach. I think it's an excellent medication. Like I said, I have had no cravings and no anxiety about not always grabbing for a pill bottle. Look into it. I think it's worth a shot!

Let me know~
~Kim
