hi there:
I had my twins on dec 2001 and on my after delivery visit the pap smear turned out "abnormal" I was supposed to have another test done, but I was on medicaid at that time and it sttoped cobering. I was in a really hard financial situation and since then I was never able to get money aside to do the test. Now I bought an insurance and I have my app next month. The thing is I have been having menstrual like cramps everyday for almost 2 months now. sometimes my legs get numb.. I am really afraid that is going to be bad news. am I worring too much????

Please be sure to keep your appointment. It is not uncommon to have an abnormal pap after childbirth. It merely shows that some skin cells got kicked up while having the babies. As for cramps. That too could be endometriosis, not pleasant but not cancer either, it could be bowel related, not fun but needs to be investigated if not explained. Any one who is going through financial hardships will tend to have stomach pain or increased menstrual cramps etc., So, just hang in there and try not to worry, but go ahead and see the doctor to ease one more symptom of stress.
