I've read some of the threads relative to pressure headaches but wanted to start my own and mention some of my specific symptoms.

-what I experience is not really a headache but pressure in the front of my head and behind the eyes;

-the pressure seems to go away for a brief while after i massage and apply pressure to my eyes and massage my temples;

-I feel about 100% better when it is rainny outside, but I have not done any tests to see if the pressure is related to barometric pressure;

-I constantly feel the need to massage my face and forehead;

-I feel 100% better when taking a nasal decongestant but I do not have sinus congestion;

-The pressure is also in my face and I feel as though my face is alseep while the rest of me is awake;

-my mind is cloudy, which also goes away when I take a nasal decongestant;

Does anyone experience any of the above symptoms?

WOW! I've been on here searching and searching for something consistent with what I've been feeling. I've been able to relay info to other people about some health problems I've had but have found no one that described what I'm feeling until now. I feel the exact way you desribed. I was checked for a sinus infection and that's not the case, but that's exactly what it feels like. The ONLY thing I've gotten relief from is a decongestant. Not anything else. Including pain meds. Strange. So I guess I didn't help you other than to say that I'm with ya on that, and would love to know what was going on. It's one of the worser headaches I've ever experienced. The pressure is terrible. I am going to a headache clinic next week. I've tried everything.

I would like to know more about your "pressure" my 10 year old daughter complains constantly about pressure on her head. Usually it takes place on the top of her head and on her forehead. Some days it makes her very lathargic and hard for her to function. She is currently trying migraine medicines but they don't seem to help and tylonol and motrin don't do much either. She has a shunt which confuses the issue a bit as it can contribute to headaches...but she insists it's not a headache just pressure. Have you tracked the barometric pressure and how you feel on certain days when it either goes up or down?
Have you read any posts that may have hinted towards a correlation?
This is my first post so I'm very curious if anyone has looked into this.

26 yr old female

Recently I've been experiencing these new headaches. They are mostly around my eyes and in my temples, but they travel all over my head sometimes. I am sensitive to light, but I do not get nausea or an aura with them. My neuro thinks they are migraines and prescribed Mobic and Maxalt to stop them. They don't really work that well.

WHen I wake, they are not there, but develop after I've been up for a while.
The pain is around my eyeballs and in my temples. I get them EVERY DAY!

Anyone else have these? MRI schedule for next week to check things out.
