Hey all

I was reading Pinky's reply on digmusic's thread "very anxious about boyfriend's bad seizures". She mentioned experiences of seeing lightning flashes across her brain:

"all I Rem Is Saying To My Friend That I Thought I Had A Very Bad Migraine Coming On As I Had The Sensation That I Could See Lightning Flashes Shooting Accrss My Brain.(it Was As If I Could See Inside My Own Skull)"

It's the first time I've ever heard anyone talk about this, and I think I experience the same thing. Can anyone shed any light on the subject? Not sure about Pinky, but I have juvenile myoclonic epilepsy, which is generalised. I'd imagined this sort of stuff would only happen with partial. However, apparently not... The only reason I can think of for this is that I saw a tv programme which demonstrated synapse misfiring - and that's kinda what I see. Perhaps it's psychological? Hmm...

Cheers,
Eilidh
