View Full Version : Lunesta--any weird "buzz-like" effects?

I have an appt. with a doctor in 2 days. I'm thinking of asking about Lunesta and whether or not I should try it. I read some of the posts here and it really doesn't sound like a good drug, so now I'm not sure. See the problem I have is that I really liked the "buzz" from Ambien & Sonata, and ended up abusing them. Now I really can't have those pills around. I've tried things like Trazadone, Melatonin, Valerian Root, even benadryl; they all make me a zombie the next day. Ambien and Sonata were awesome because they don't have that effect AT ALL. But, the medication abuse is inevitable with those two, so I can't go that route. For those of you who tried Lunesta - did you feel any of the same type of side effects? Besides the awful bitter yucky aftertaste, what side effects did you feel?

Thanks tons!

It gave me aslight buzz efect, but not near as much ambien. Let me ask you this, ambien didn't help me sleepatall, just gave me a buzz. Did Sonata help you sleep good.

Sonata worked, but not as well as the Ambien. I felt kinda drunk from it. Both Sonata & Ambien gave me amnesia.
