PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAS WORKED FOR YOU WHEN YOU FLY- I HAVE ALLERGIES AND EUSTACHIAN TUBE DYSFUNCTION- HAVE GONE TO DR.- OTHER THAN ALLERGY SHOTS(WHICH i TAKE-) ZYRTEC- ( PLUS DECONGESTANTS- I DREAD FLYING AND I HAVE 2 FLIGHTS WITHIN 10 DAYS AND THEN 2 WEEKS LATER- ANOTHER 2 FLIGHTS.
ANY HINTS- I USE NOSE DROPS ON DESCENT, WEAR EAR PLANES, AND TAKE AN EXTRA SUDAFED. I DON'T GET PAIN, BUT SUCH INCREDIBLE STUFFINESS- AND ODDLY ENOUGH IT REALLY KICKS IN AFTER THE FLIGHT. PLEASE- I WOULD APPRECIATE SOME OTHER FEEDB ACK AS TO WHAT YOU ALL DO ABOUT FLYING.

the only advice i can give you is RELEX! easier said than done, i know! i got on a plane for the first time in 3 years (since i got VN) and was a nervous wreck, i almost didn't board. but i did it and it was okay, but yes i did get quite stuffy, especially on the way home because i got a sinus infection. but even with the sinus infection i was okay, nothing a couple of tylonol couldn't fix. just try to relax and bring lots of little things to do to keep your mind off of feeling like garbage. you'll do fine

thanks ,Anastasia- for getting back to me. Yes I am very nervous- and yes I am a bit stuffed even before I go with stuffy sinuses from allergies(even though I am taking shots, and Zyrtec and sudafed. I have been in trouble w/ other flights so- yes I anticipate trouble. I agree that it would be better to be calmer and try and think positively.
