View Full Version : Questions for people with VN or Labs

Does anybody with Labs or VN(most specifically VN) experience the following?

A feeling of quick spins with sudden head movements, stopping after walking or with turning when pacing back and forth. I usually experience these very quick spins with sudden head movement, often times when walking and turning my head or if I'm making a turn when walking. The other day I had spinning for a few seconds when pacing around and making a turn.

How about a feeling sudden head heaviness hitting or like the ground is moving in some way when walking? Or the feeling when like there's some slow motion or your being screwed or unscrewed in to the ground when standing still.

Hi Frankie
I have experienced all of those sensations. They are very common with inner probs. THe good news is over time as you recover that should gradually get better.
Although I am currently experiencing much of these symptoms again, 80-90% of the time I am free from vertigo, and 2 years ago I never thought that possible.
Take care

Hi Frankie,

The one that stands out is the sudden head heaviness. I got that about 3 times a day. It always felt like my head was going to roll right off my shoulders. It took a year but it stopped in the end. Not nice. You'll get there...hang in.

Hi Frankie,
When my symptoms first started I had a lot of trouble driving on the freeway, because whenever I turned my head to see if it was safe to change lanes I would end up with spins.

I can't say that I ever felt any heaviness, but sometimes I felt like I was on a moving sidewalk (like those ones in the airport) and could swear the ground was moving underneath me.

Just try to stay active... something that helped me with calming down the spins from quick head movements was some VRT I was given, where I would walk down a long hallway while turning my head from side to side. This made me pretty dizzy right afterwards, but after about 3 months of doing it everyday I don't notice the spins as much.
