HI everyone....I just have a question.. do any of you have problems at dusk and I do not mean just when driving....I always have problems driving especially when going through the shade of the trees , winding roads that sort of thing...but last night I was outside talking to my inlaws and it was dusk and my eyes started acting up it was wierd like they just wanted to close or something I started feeling wierd almost like I do when driving sometimes......it was scary I just hate when this happens.......I did have some caffeine earlier and had hot dogs which I know have alot of salt in it. I just hate all of this and sometimes I just worry that it might be something else goin on !!

I am bothered when it is bright outside and also more at night, when driving. What I wanted to say was, as you seem to know, caffiene and salt are not good. At least that is what I have figured out for myself. The salt retains fluid and that plugs my ears up more and makes me dizzy. Caffiene probably acts by constricting blood vessels and affecting circulation. I really try to do decaf stuff and watch my salt. I have also heard that sugar is bad too. Good luck!!

Hi
I can really relate to the flickering on the sun through trees whether I am driving or not, it really affects me. When the sun is really bright is bad too.
I wanted to say that I really suffer with sugar, I find that I can't even eat a small bag of dolly mixtures without feeling bad the next day. And the topping on carrot cake really affects me. Or any sugary sweets/stuff. I have totally cut out caffeine but didn't know about salt - thanks. Hope you are feeling a bit better now Dizzy.
Best wishes to both of you

I'm just the opposite - I feel better at dusk than at any other time. Full sunlight is too overwhelming for my senses, but dusk is just about right. I'm sure my neighbours must think I'm a vampire! ;)

Ann--

Im the same way. I do better at night time than I do during the day. I wonder why that is.

Thanks everyone for the replies.....I guess I need to get back to eliminating things like caffeine and watch my salt intake I have been suffering from this for years and it comes and goes and sometimes I can get off track!!
