I have had mono for a year and have not gotten any better yet...horrible fatigue. I am going back to the doctor tomorrow. Are there any tests he can run to see if the mono has enlarged my spleen and or impaired my liver function? I heard that mono can do both. Am I in any danger of long term damage? I rest and rest but am not getting any better and am worried about long term effects.

I would like to hear about what tests are being done.
You know, there are a lot of things/conditions, that go along with Mono !

He is going to test my liver, thyroid (although all my tests have always come back ok before) antibodies, and a test to see if there is any infection in my body. Not feeling better yet.... :rolleyes: But thanks for asking!
