Hi Everyone! I'm looking for the best in Children's GI, so that I can consult with them about my daughter. We've been tested numerous tests for numerous things and nothing has watched what her problem is with gaining weight. We live in Cincinnati and work with Children's of Cincinnati but we're willing to travel anywhere to get her the help she needs. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thank you!

The best doctor in the country for bowel diseases, is the head doctor at mount siani in New York. I can't remember his name, but I know he's the head pediatric gastro doc. I went to see him, he is great. Like I said really he is the number 1 in the us. I live in florida, so my mom and I went up there in April.

Also try Boston Children's / Johns Hopkins. Johns Hopkins, because it gets the lion's share of NIH research funding and because they collaborate with the top hospitals/researchers from around the world, is often a good place to start esp. for rare, low-incidence conditions/diseases. If Johns Hopkins isn't researching your problem, there's a good chance they know someone who is.

Another route is the Columbia University Gastroenterology Web - from here you can link to other gastro sites:
