ok i haven't had sex for at least 5 months but i woke this morning and noticed a weird bump on the under-side of the shaft of my penis about 3/4 of the way down.
it looks somewhat like a pimple only that it seems to be sort of flat and firm.
it is pretty much the color of my skin but a little more red. there is only one.
does this sound familiar to anyone? is it possible it could just be a pimple as i am already prone to acne (but have never had acne near or on my genitals)? :confused:
who would be better to see for this type of thing? my regular doctor or my dermatologist?
any help would be greatly appreciated

Going to the dermatologist would be better, just in case it needs to be removed. If it is HPV or Herpes the dermatologist can address both issues. Have you researched HPV at all? Read some of the posts in this forum and see if you could identify with any of the circumstances. GOOD LUCK!
