Saw your post in lung section. Hope everthing goes well. I had carpal tunnel surgery and was also afraid the sedation would make the inner ear problem worse- but the anestheisologist said it would not effect the inner ear-and he was right-I was fine. God Bless-My prayers with you

Bless you Pat, thats so nice. But I have had the broncoscopy already! I was a bit worried about the sedation effecting my dizzyness but it was okay. I just felt really groggy afterwards. The sedation wasn't that strong, I was still quite awake during the proceedure and so I could see everything - down into the vocal chords and then into the lungs, I find that sort of thing really interesting, my eyes were glued to the monitor as they were doing the proceedure! They didn't find anything which is good news, they think my breathing problems are to do with acid reflux so I am waiting for a barium meal at the moment.

So how are you? How long ago was the carpal tunnel surgery, is that to do with repetitive strain? Hope youve all recovered from it now. I read that you are feeling less dizzy now, thats really good news. I hope the job hunting isn't getting you down too much - think how much you are able to do now - all these job interviews and stress and you are coping with it!!
Take care and all the best, wishing you lots of good luck for the interview next Tuesday
