Tess, I just read another post that said you are having a bronchoscopy done. Good luck and I will be thinking about you. When are you having it? I am sure you will feel sleepy after the sedation, but hopefully it will not affect your ears. Maybe being sooo relaxed will help! :p Let us know how it all turns out!
XOXO,

HI Dizzy
thank you for the message of support, its really nice, but I had the bronchoscopy a couple of weeks ago! I was a bit worried about how the sedation would affect the dizzyness but it was fine. The sedation made me feel really woozy and horrible though. But I could see the monitor - its a camera that goes into the lungs - and it was really cool to see inside me! - my vocal chords and then into the lungs.
Its all fine, nothing wrong with my lungs so thats good. They think its acid reflux so Im waiting for a barium meal at the moment. Long wait though!
Im wondering how your test went today but I'll have a look and see if youve posted on the other thread.
Hope you are well and take lots of care

Sorry my good luck message was late! I just got back from the balance test. It was not too bad. Made me feel...off-balance. You stand on this platform and you have to look straight ahead and you cannot touch the walls for support. The walls are painted all bright and colorful like the horizon and the sky. It is really close to your face. Then they do variuos things, like make you close your eyes and balance, move the wall in front of you, and make the platform move around. It tests how your vestibular system is working together. I passed as basically normal. The lady said that all it means is that whatever I have, my vest. system has learned to compensate for it. I could have told them that! With that test and all the others, it is supposed to help the doctor figure out what is wrong! We shall see. Another hurdle done though!! Hope you are doing well.

Hi Dizzy
Good to hear from you. Im glad the test didn't make you feel too bad. It does sound nauseating though! It is good that you are basically normal - if you have adapted well to the problems you have then hopefully it wont take too long to continue to adapt until you are better!
How are you now - are you still suffering from the recent vertigo attack you had or are you back to where you were?
Have a good weekend and take care

Tess: I am pretty much over the vertigo from last week. I am grateful cause the attack was not as bad as before and the after effects were not as bad either! I had some blood work today to test for other things that can cause dizziness, but that is just standard testing. I don't think I have those things! How are you feeling? Have a good weekend too!
Take Care
