Hello Everyone, My name is Jackie and I am 59 years young. I currently have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia however I also believe that something else is going on. In 2001 I found my mother dead in her condo and one year after that my problems started. One of the problems that manifested itself was confusion. I would get not know how to get out of a store even though I could see the doors. It meant nothing to me. What I do is withdrawl within myself and begin to logically figure out how to solve the problem. Finally, I was able to do so while I stood in the middle of the floor. Well, these confusion episodes would come and go, sometimes not showing up for months at a time. Now, however it is a daily occurence. I will be in the shower and forget how to turn off the water. Last week I was going outside, I closed the door and could not figure out how to lock it. I have been driving and not known where I am going. Scary. I also suffer from migraines and headaches on a daily basis. My neurologist has me taking 900 mg of Neurontin a day and that has really helped. I am very tired in the afternoons and evenings and will take naps. Does any of this sound familiar? I am SOOOO frustrated. I REALLY would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks so much.
