Hi there, haven't talked for a while. How did your appointment with the doc go? What did she decide to do with your quick growing a.keratosis?

I'm healing quite nicely. The doc was soo ecstatic when he say how red and raw the area was. He wrote me a script for 1% hydrocortisone in Glaxal base and Vaseline....apply twice a day. It definitely showed improvement quickly.

Hope you're doing OK. Did you ever find the self-tanning towelettes?

Hope you have a good weekend.

Hi--glad to hear you are doing well with efudex treatment.

I went to dermo appt. and didn't accomplish much as she is now
leaving for california and is referring me to another dermo in the
same office which I will see in 4 weeks. I did have a few spots
frozen--the ones on my neck finally quit spreading and am still
using efudex on them.

:( I have since grown 2 small spots on my left shin right above a
previous BCC that was surgically removed and a mole on my
right arm has become inflamed and swollen---GREAT!!! I am just
a greenhouse for BCC's and keratosis. I am supposed to use
the efudex on both areas for a couple weeks then quit and next
dermo appointment they will biopsy my neck. I am going to a
quick appt at my GP and have him whack the mole off so I don't
have to worry with it and he is right here in town and my daughter
is his nurse!! I also have a red spot in the middle of my back
between my shoulder blades and it is right where another one
was surgically removed!!! I will get all this stuff off me someday!! :bouncing:

I haven't tried the toweletts but did find a great self tanner that
actually doesn't streak and looks great and goes on very easily--it
is quite dark in the container. I purchased it through HSN and it was
called body butter--goes on very easily and looks natural--so far so
good for that--at least I look tan--of course everyone says what in
the world are you doing tanning!!!!

 It was nice to hear from you again--I would have written sooner
but my computer decided to give me fits and had to spend a few
days (almost a week) talking to Dell and restoring the computer and
of course then adding everything that I had lost back in and I was
ready to throw it out the window (it is only 6 months old) My niece
who is 13 downloaded a new messenger on my computer and made
it crash--I already had one and the one she used didn't work with
my system--teenagers--gotta love them!!!

Weekend coming up---yeah!!! We only have 11 more days of school
left here so I am in for my summer vacation and very excited about
that!!!

Have a great weekend,
Terri

Hi Terri, so glad to hear you're "up and running" again!! Computers..can't live without them nowadays!!

You for sure ARE a greenhouse for the BCC and keratosis!! I can't believe they're popping up so quickly. Did the doctor give you any insight into WHY it's happening? That's great to hear that the ones on your neck finally stopped growing. Is the skin still oozing? Any other pillow problems with sticking?

Four weeks is definitely a long time to wait for the next appt. Too bad your doc is going on holidays, but good you have another doctor in the same office available to take you while she's gone.

It's also nice you have another doctor available to "whack" off the one mole that's giving you grief. Definitely a perk with having your daughter as his nurse. How long does it take for the biopsies to come back?

You must be mentally exhausted with having to deal with all of this. I'm ecstatic to hear you're not tanning anymore. I've never heard of the body butter....but I'm glad it's working for you to create the tanned colour you like.

I think you're one of many who are excited about summer holidays. Our weather's been a bit wonky, although not too far from the ordinary for this time of year. I'm not one for really hot weather, but I'm just hoping it doesn't rain from May till November like it did last year. I'd much prefer snow!!

Let me know how your "whacking" appointment goes.
Enjoy the weekend!
