i had my lower left wisdom tooth pulled on monday and it left a huge hole in my mouth. i still have soreness, went back on thurs bc it hurt bad and there was a white spot on the hole which i thought it got infected but he said i had dry socket put a temp. filling like thing on it for a day and took it out yesterday, now its still hurting. how do i know if this gets infected?? he also gave me no antibotics

This was one of my big questions too. I had little or no pain. Some peolpe (my wife included) experince a lot of pain.
