Did anyone here happen to catch the Dateline special on Stress Eating and Dieters?
I only got to see bits and pieces as I was working, but what I did hear was that they had made some type of connection between dieters and the higher likelihood for them to eat more when suffering from stress.
I know that I am a huge stress eater and wondered if they had any solutions on how to resolve the issue, or perhaps someone here has a suggestion?

I definately stress eat but this is what I am doing to remedy this. I bought a treadmill for one and if I am stressed I walk. Then if that doesn't work I keep a supply of slimfast on hand and if I get the urge to eat even though I am not hungry I just grab a slimfast. I drink one in the morning anyways, and will start with lunches soon but I am telling you it truly helps to take you stress out on something that won't hurt you but will benefit you a lot. Good luck. :)

I agree with jeepbabe.. I reduced alot of my stress levels by exercising them away. It's like beating someone up, except you're really beating up your own body. lol.

LOL. Yes exactly. I am even thinking of getting a punching bag. So guess what I figured out works for me in losing weight. I have slim fast in the morning, a small lunch like a weight watchers smart ones meal and then I have a good dinner. Drink lots of water and take my fiber supplements. 15lbs gone so far.
