i had an abcessed tooth but it wasnt painful. had root canal started on monday during which time i could smell like rotten smell. since then that tooth and surrounds have b een extremely painful..i cant chew on that side and it is onstantly aching. she put some antibiotics in the tooth and i have had two days of oral amoxacillin (2 days left). so far its not heping at all.
what could be wrong and what should i do..could the antibiotics still work?
