Hello,

I've been on a diet for about 3 months. It's been very successful, however in efforts of speeding the process up (I've already proved my commitment) I've decided to implement a weight loss supplement into my already STRICT diet/exercise regime. After day one, my weight increased 3lbs. Today, an addition 2.5 lbs, mind you, I have limited my eating today - to counteract this abrupt weight gain. Who knows how much I would have gained had I kept up my regular eating today. I could see these pills doing 'nothing', sure. That's life, that's marketing. But for these pills to actually make you gain weight? Seems like an impossibility, otherwise the product (Hot-Rox) would be off the market due to dismal sales.

Needless to say, does this happen often with pills? If not, is it possible it's just muscle gain? I want to quit the pills, but I am not sure if it takes several days to take effect or not.

If anyone can advise me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

While I have no experience with the specific product you tried, I have had diet supplements have the reverse effect on me (i.e. weight gain) in the past. I don't have an explanation for it at all, but I can say it happens. I only gained about 3 lbs., but still - when you're trying to lose, 3 pounds is 3 pounds! A real downer...

My sentiments exactly. It's discouraging to say the least. Fortunately, I have lost weight without any supplements. However, it makes you think - what if this was the beginning of my diet. This product would single handedly be responsible for the destruction of my diet.

I.E. - I cheated at a fast food rest. last night, first time in weeks. Granted "I"" made my bed, but hell, hot-rox provided the comforter, sheets, added new pillows, shot of Nyquil, and made sure I slept on the damn thing. :D :nono:

I used hot rox about a year ago, I was exercising and eating healthy for the most part, I did not gain weight or lose weight, it was a complete waste of money, unless they put ephedra back in diet supplements I would never waste money on them again.

I've been trying to lose weight since January and have been gaining weight instead. I've been dieting and have always worked out ALOT, so this weight gain has got me dumbfounded. I even went on weight watchers to make sure I wasn't eating too much - however - I have been taking Trim Spa for a few months now.....could this be preventing me from losing weight? I gained the weight before going on the diet pill though???

HELP!

I don't know if this factors in for any of you guys, but I have recently realized that when I take those pill I tend to feel a bit sick and that makes me want to eat something to calm my stomach. They all say to take them on an empty stomach (mine did anyway) yet that made me sick.

Possibly the pills are doing this to you and you dont even realize it?

No - I haven't noticed that at all - but I do know what you mean (that happened when I was taking prescription pain relievers for my back)
