Hi everyone,

I'm currently taking an omega vitamin to see if it helps me with my depression. I am also on birth control pills (tricyclen), does anybody know if this would decrease the effectiveness of the pill? I've heard that St. John's Wort can decrease it, so I decided to take the omega. If anybody could help me, I would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There is no way to know for sure because vitamins and supplements are not regulated by the FDA, nor are they regularly studied for drug interactions.
