I wanted to share our good news with all of you. :bouncing: My 18 year old son (our baby) who was diagnosed with high functioning autism 10 years ago will be graduating with a Indiana high school diploma at the end of May. He had to rely on the waiver system because he just could not pass the English portion of the states graduation qualifying exam even with accomodations and 4 tries at it. My husband and I got the news at his final case conference this morning and we both were in tears. Just a few years ago we didn't see a big chance of this ever happening. Maybe it will give some others with younger children some hope! :)
