birthcontrol & condoms  What are my chances of getting pregnant If I don't use a condom haven taken the depo shot. If I do decide on getting condoms what kind would be sentitive enough for me. I get very irritated down there, and develop rashes. I'm very sentitive. thanks.

b/c is what? About 99% efficient. And if your taking it properly I think you chances are low. i was w/my b/f for over a year using b/c and condoms and up until recently we totally stopped using condoms. And I havent had a pregnancy scare yet. Though im not on depo. Im sure you'd be safe.

Depo and other hormonal methods of birth control are meant to be the sole manner of contraception. Depo is somewhere around 99.7% effective, which means that out of 1000 women using it, only 3 will get pregnant. So long as you and your partner are STD free, then having condomless sex when using Depo is perfectly fine. :)

If you still choose to use condoms with depo (I take pills and use condoms...just in case, because I take my pill when I get up in the morning and I don't always wake up at the same time, right?), I would suggest Trojan lubricated WITHOUT spermicide. It's the light blue box. The dark blue has the spermicide, and that stuff burns me. You can also buy a bottle of Astroglide for lubrication to smear on yourself and put a little on his condom once he has it on. The bottle is clear with a purple label and has the wavy shape of a crisper cracker, small bottle is about 12 bucks Canadian. DO NOT buy KY lotion if you are sensitive, it burns like hell. good luck.
