Has anyone had any experience at all with swollen lymph nodes or glands being related to their reflux in anyway?? My doctor and I have been working on my swollen nodes for a month now with tests and antibiotics but they are still swollen. They even appear to be going down some and back up again so we are wondering if they are related to my reflux or ppi (which I stopped a couple of weeks ago) in some way??

Any help or opinions would really be greatly appreciated!!! I am going crazy with this!!! If I could just pin down a cause or theory I could lessen by stress about it!!! I know touching them does not help to get them back to normal but it is so hard not to when you are so stressed about them!!!

I can't believe I am the only one having these node problems!!!! As you can tell from all my posts it is just driving me crazy!!!!

Thanks MissL. I did, even posted there but I got the feeling they were just comparing the swollen throat feeling to swollen glands or nodes. It didn't seem as though anyone's doctor actually said they had swollen nodes. Maybe I am just misunderstanding since I am in a panic!! I guess I will give them a few more weeks (trying not to touch them!!) and hope they go down. If not some real tests will have to get done

Hi again, i have swollen nodes, i do think they can be there because of reflux and acid i think its because of the inflamation it causes, i myself was in total agony with my heartburn i felt like my whole neck and spesh the salivery glands were sore ive been on omeprazole 40mg a day for a week and my symptoms are better. I was at my doctors last week she is very good and she felt the nodes no one else could, i have had a few other problems and went to an oral surgeon she never said my nodes were related to acid just thatmy teeth need fixed and i have a ongoing bacterial infection thats making my tonsils inflamed? what happened to you?

OH YEAH i do believe that swollen nodes are a side effect from PPI
