I just finished reading the previous post regarding boy who graduated from High School-Congratulations to the Family...
I am a mom to two boys diagnosed with autism and really enjoy hearing/reading things regarding children diagnosed with autism who seem to have really advanced in their lives. My boys are 4.5 yrs old and there are days that you wonder if you could do more or better and how. I wish that more parents with children diagnosed with ASD that are now older would share more of their experiences with the parents of younger children-giving them hope, inspiration, whatever and somehow proving that when you are having one of "THOSE" days, it will pass and all the hard work to help your kids will pay off for them. Anybody that has any advice to give to parents with younger kids, feel free to pass it along- It may seem unimportant to you, but it isn't.... :D
