Okay.. this is my first time posting anything on here. I started taking birth control in January and my periods are normal and at the same time every month. This month I had my period for 4 days and then it stopped (i had sex the day i got my period if that makes a difference or not.. im not sure), but it came back a day later. I keep thinking that it's gone away, but I still have a redish brown discharge like it's the end of my period. It's been a couple of days and it's bothering me because I don't know why it's not going away. If anybody can clue me in on any reasons why this could be happening I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like spotting, and it's a normal side effect. The spotting should abside after you finish this cycle. If not, let your prescriber know. You may require a stronger pill.
