View Full Version : Tooth growing in roof of mouth

Greetings.

At the dentist today we were told my sister would be reffered to a nearby dental hospital to have an operation in her mouth due to a tooth growing on the roof of her mouth.

Whilst explaining this the dentist used a term for it, something along the lines of 'Messinder' or something of the sort, after repeated looks over dental sites, health sites and general searching on Gooogle we have yet to find any existance of it so it's likely we have a severe misspelling of the word or have misheard it.

Can anyone shed any light as to what the word might actually be and any further information on it ?

Thank you in advance,

Karl

Mesiodens is probably the word you are looking for.
