I have a six year old brother who keeps getting sick. My mom hates to use antibiotics, but finally put him on it because he wouldn't get better. After being on 3 different ones he is now off. Ever since he has been off he has had diareah, and today he just had blood in his stool. We are very concerned because none of the doctors can figure out why he keeps getting sick. If anyone knows anything about this, please reply...we need help!

The blood and diarrhea indicate that he has probably gotten c-diff from all the antibiotic use. This is contagious so use caution and please have your mother take him to the doc as soon as you read my reply. He needs medication and may need fluids if he is starting to get dehydrated. Since it is evening that will mean a trip to the ER or urgent care but have your mother take him to the doc.
