I have a 7 month old little girl, who recently began teething. I heard teething usually keeps them awake more and a little more irratible, my seems to be tired more. She sleeps through the night with no problem and eats on a regular schedule w/o any problems, my worry is that she has been getting very tired all the time. She is usually up for about an hour and a half before she is ready for a 2 hour nap. This is really out of the ordinary for our baby she would usually go several hours before she needed an hour nap. I would think as babies get older they would require less sleep, complete opposite here. Any suggestions on why our baby is always tired of late. Thank You!

If she's becoming more mobile, able to crawl, etc., she may be wearing herself out more quickly. Also, if she's teething, she may not be feeling as well. If she's still eating well and otherwise behaving normally, it's probably not anything to worrry about. If you're really concerned, call your pediatrician's office and talk to a nurse. They're there to answer your questions.
