(oops, that should read "bump")

Yesterday my 2 yr old complained of not feeling well most of the day. He complained that his tummy hurt. He did eat and drink, though. Last night he had a fever (100 deg or so) and threw up quite a bit. This morning there is no fever, but he has 3 small white bumps on his tongue and is complaining that they hurt.

I don't know whether to associate the two together or chock it up to coincidence and assume he just has a couple of swollen taste buds. how can I tell? He seems slightly lethargic today, but no fever. He only ate a very small bit of his breakfast and none of his lunch. There are no other body rashes or symptoms.

TIA for any input.
JB

Couple more symptoms I just noticed: his nodes seem to be very swollen both by the touch and looking down his throat. There are also these very tiny red spots on the roof of his mouth (they are not raised, but look rather to be underneath the tissue).I haven't noticed them before, but then again, I never really looked. There are a few more white bumps (only on tongue) than I originally noticed, too.

Is it call the doc time??

I, personally, would probably wait another day. I doubt there's anything serious wrong since the fever has gone away. If the bumps where still there or the fever comes back I would call then.
