i was diagnosed with molluscum last year. i had the bump frozen off. its been a year later and i have gotten another bump in a different area. the doc said it looked like molluscum again and put nitrogen on it. i got home and the bump got alot bigger. is this normal?

I had molluscum quite a few years ago - I had to have them fronzen off, but I don't recall them ever getting bigger. Once I had my treatment all the bumps remained gone.

i guess. did your molluscum ever appear in different areas? like i had one on my shaft, then a year later one on my scrotum. the office i went to said it was still in a local area, and she seemed certain it was molluscum again. so she froze it off without analyzing it. ugh.

The bumps will get bigger right before they start to heal. It's a good sign.
