My periods always lasted 5 days. There is nothing wrong with you, either.

I think that some pills make the lining of the uterus thinner so your period doesn't last as long.

When I was on Alesse my periods only lasted 4-5 days, first time in my life that ever happend. But now I'm on Yasmin, and they range from 6-10 days, some months (usually the ones I bleed more) are worse than others.

I am also on Yasmine and my periods only last 2-3 days as well. Mine usually starts on Friday, sometimes Thursdays. I restart my new pill package on the Mondays always.
