Ok, I have my percription for it, its the implant and its supposed to last 3yrs....its name is pretty close to the word implant and I woudl put its name if I were near my percription. I'm am goign to have it put in once I get my period as dr. told ie to make sure I'm not pregnant, etc etc. I just want to know if anyone has had any experiance on it etc etc and stuff.....thanks.

If it is the Norplant, just know that it can cause weight gain. My friend was on it and gained 70 lbs.

I just foudn out its called implanon (I told you it was close to the word implant!) Yeah I think thats often the case with many birth control pills, plus I am not exercising much because of illness, and have other drugs to put weight on me so its not the biggest issue......
