I have been experiencing high volume flatulance for a few months. It is so embarrassing I can not hold it in. We were visiting friends and when I stood up it just came out. I could not control it. :nono:
Does anyone have any suggestions what to take or do for this. I have tried anti gas tablets but they do not even work.
I take Metformin for T2 diabetes and am told this could be the problem.

It can be a symptom of gallbladder trouble, too...have you considered that?

Anti-gas tablets work on stomach gas. I haven't found any meds helpful for gas. It bothers me too and my doc says it diet related and I just to tell him to #*$(@!!! Anwway, it is a GB symptom and I do have upper right discomfort almost all the time so I am about to push harder to have my GB retested because it has been especially bad the last few weeks with no relief.
