My girlfriend wants to get a form of contraceptive, but she wants to know if she can get a prescription from one of those confidential clinics, for like uninsured people, or people who just dont want to talk about the issue with their normal doctors. And also, shes only 17, can she still get a prescription?

yeah, she can-just go to a free clinic such as planned parenthood. some basic questions will be asked, they might want to give her an exam or she will need to go back in a few months for one, and you're all set.
