I can't believe I did this. Yesterday morning I awoke early and took my BCP and went back to bed. I awoke hours later and put my pill back in my purse and notice that the SUnday pill was still there. I paniced...so I took another one thinking that I missed the day before (Saturday). After freaking out with my boyfriend..I looked at the package again and noticed that I had taken Saturday's from the opposite end of the package. So I had actually had taken the pill on Saturday and then took 2 (like an idiot) on Sunday.

So what I am wondering is (and probably already know the answer) will that affect my cycle in any way? Has anyone ever done this? I feel so silly. haha
I guess I could just end my pill 1 day early???

This won't make your pill any less effective. :) And don't feel silly, it's happened to the best of us!

You have two choices here -- you can either continue the pack as normal and end one day early -- meaning you need to start a NEW pack one day earlier, or else if you are off the pill eight days you'll need back up for the first seven days back on it. Your other option is to get a new pack of pills, take a "replacement" pill from it to replace the sunday pill you took when it comes time and then label that pack as "extras" and keep it on hand for situations like this.
