Here's the thing..probably a couple months ago I noticed this little pimple like-hard bump on my inner leg, right where my elastic of my underwear would be, like the crease inside my leg.

It got kind of sore and hard, but I just thought it was a pimple. Eventually it pretty much went away and I didn't think about it again.

Recently, a few days ago, I shaved down there again and got a lot of irritation, ya know the normal shaving bumps but they went away. NOW this bump thing is back and it hurtsss! It's like a cyst. I have been poking at it and squeezing it and nothing comes out but a little clear fluid just from the top layer of skin. When I put ice on it, it feels a little better. It's pretty muchf flat until I put both fingers around it and can then feel like a lump.

Could this just be a cyst? Will it go away? Should I just leave it alone and let it go away itself if it can? Has anyone else had this before...

I'm assuming it's from me shaving..then just got infected or maybe turned into a cyst. UGHH.

Hi Sun K. First thing is, stop squeezing it. It sounds exactly what I had. It is probably from an ingrown hair. Common in this area. The ingrown hair can become a boil, which is usually red, sore and contains pus. You don't want to squeeze it as the pus can get into the surrounding tissues and become terribly infected. When I had this it would kind of come and go, too. Finally it go so big and sore and inflammed I had to have in lanced at the ER, as I could barely walk or get dressed. It was bad engough to cause cellulitis too. I needed antibiotics because of the infection.
Don't use ice on it. First of all keep it well cleaned, use hot (not TOO hot). moist, compresses, which may bring the "boil" to a head where the pus will drain naturally.
If it doesn't drain on it's own or gets worse see your dr.
Hope you're feeling better soon, as I know how uncomfortable this is...especially in that area. Good Luck.

Thanks...theres no pus, and its not raised at all like a boil or anything. It's completely flat if I run my finger over it...but feels like a ball if i squeeze it up, if ya know what I mean? It's just like a mass of tender skin and stuff. And it's a little cut on the top where I tried to pop it with tweezers. Hopefully it starts going away!!

I had trouble with those for years, theyd come and go, and start itching like crazy when they were getting ready to appear again. Had cultures done and all that good stuff. The nurse practitioner thought they were bacterial, but nothing they tried to do ever made them go away. I found the cure. Ditched the underwear. It worked. I get the same things in my underarm area, where the elastic sits if I wear certain bras. I would almost have to say it's the elastic that causes them.

Sounds like a "skin tag." They're caused by chafing and irritation where skin rubs against skin, or skin against clothing, esp. elastics. They generally show up in the areas where underwear elastic rubs, or bra straps. They can be removed by your doctor with a local anasthetic. Hope that helps. They're probably more embarrassing than troublesome.
