I have had several surgeries performed by Dr. Tseng and he is by far one of the most compassionate, brilliant doctors I've ever met. I live in NY but traveled numerous times to see him and each time I had an operation scheduled, he made arrangements so that I could get everything done within that visit or timeframe, saving me time and money.

He has helped me with a myriad of dry eye problems along with pingecuelas and a condition called chalasis. He is the only doctor that was able to diagnose me properly and subsequently treat me for it.

I strongly suggest you see him in person and experience for yourself the pure competency of this man. The most important issue is that he wants to help his patients.

I hope this information helps.

Thanks Susan..I actually heard about Dr. Tseng from you and another member on this board...and I was amazed at the results of some of his patients...I have been suffering from dry eyes for over a year now..and I feel like he is my last hope...I am from Toronto and I was worried about taking many trips for treatment..I got these red veins appearing more and more..and I want them to stop...and my eyes burn all day...and its effecting me socially...Susan...so is your dry eye under control now..what did he give u for dry eyes ...non preserved steroid drops...plugs...???...btw...thanks for the reply..and thank you for posting about Dr. Tseng on this site...take care.

Hi,

Initially he performed surgery to remove pingecuelas (I don't know if you know anything about these growths, but I'll clarify if you need me to) in both eyes, and while he was doing the surgery he discovered I had an underlying condition which was also contributing to my dry eyes called conjunctivochalasis. Simply put, the conjunctiva shifts by not adhering to the sclera underneath and therefore it causes great discomfort including redness, irritation and dryness to the eyes due to the constant friction and rubbing. I had surgery to correct this on March 10th and although my recovery has been slow and a bit problematic, I know that ultimately the end result will be good. Unfortunately, with back to back operations plus a weak immune system, I have had a slow recovery process, however, another forum member that I recommended to Dr. Tseng had a similar operation with great results. Everyone recovers at a different pace, but for all the other patients he's worked on, they've had phenomenal results, so I would strongly recommend that you see him. In the worse case scenario, you could benefit from a comprehensive exam and diagnosis. I must have been to at least a dozen other highly regarded doctors in the NY area and they all gave me the run around, not to mention their standoffish, nonchalant attitude didn't leave me extremely confident and optimistic.

I hope you get good results with him, and I'm confident you will. I know of several miraculous stories whereby Dr. Tseng restored eyesight for several patients who had no hope of seeing again.

wow...that is great Susan...I hope u recover soon...and are feeling great...im so worried ..and i know u understand....just like u..ive been to many many doctors who just said..dont worry...its nothing..friends who think im complaining about nothing....you know the drill....i pray to god that Dr. Tseng will help me with my dry eye...he said he would nail down the cause of the problem...so that leaves me feeling good...and hearing your story makes me feel alot better also....whats weird is that before contact lens which i tried to use before and just gave up...my eyes were so damn white...never irritated me..no redness...i never even appreciated the fact that i could see with no irritation..and now that I wore contacts for such a short period...this piece of plastic which i used to put in my eyes has made me such a negative person....i saw a pic with a women who had ocular rosacea...and the after pictures were amazing....i couldnt believe it....

I have ocular rosacea and would be interested to know how he treats that? The routine route is Doxy and/or steroid drops and compresses etc, but I wonder what other tricks he might have up his sleeves. Anyone k now?

Amy...I do not know the way he would treat ocular rosacea...but I have seen the clinical pictures ( - removed - ) with a 53 Female who had ocular rosacea and you would be quite impressed with the result...( - removed - do not post instructions to search for websites - ) I have dry eyes...and he wouldnt tell me the treatment plans..because he has to see me first...but he was confident he would nail down the cause of the problem....I wish u the best of luck..
