I have gallstones, and rarely get an attack until recently after eating too much fried fish : (
This time though it began with pain in the right lower side of the groin area, gassy crampy pains! Non stop. Kinda feels like menstrual cramps. I felt better laying down. Over the course of 3 days it moved to the left side of my groin and middle, still crampy and gassy. I kept feeling like I had to have a BM. And when I did it was burning :( Also, aches twinges in pelvic bones, both sides at the same time. I feel like I've been kicked in the lower belly.
Then along with this, the classic upper right sided colicky ache hit. I switched off to a low fat diet asap, and the upper abdominal pain has nearly diminished, but I'm left with the crampy gas - like stuff down low. I sometimes feel like I have to have a BM, even after I went. I have had that feeling before with a gallstone attack, but not the lower groin area stuff. It's just being persistent (colicky).
Anyone else have gallstone symptoms similar? I 'm not jaundiced, not feeling really sick, able to eat, no fever, and I hate going to the doctor if this is just going to pass.
Thanks in advance!

It could be referred pain meaning the cause of the pain is in one location but causes discomfort in another area. Just a guess. Good luck!
