I get weak and extremely tired. Sometimes ephedrine hydrocloride works amd sometimes not that well ( I take it all the time ). It is a life saver for me because without it is an effort to do anything. Because of it I can have peak energy days. The days that I stay tired people make sarcastic remarks at work. (This job change within my old job requires peak energy. Which I haven't had lately. So I have to hear all of their remarks on top of feeling run down. I have felt really tired like this for 5 yeara, and doctors have found nothing wrong. I have also had mood swings like crazy lately, and on top of all that I have been depressed about things for good reason. I seriously think sometime I have the Eptien (sp) Barr virus. I have read that you need to be tested for this. I didn't know if there were specific tests for this. Anyway life sucks, sorry for the negativity, but anytime I try to better my life an any way it fails. It justs seems overwhelming most of the time.

Peace

JB you may be right, but I hope not, I got checked for it back when I was 21 I think, and it came up negative. I noticed my energy started really lagging when I turned 22 and I also gained weight. The weight gain may have been from going off the pill ( my blood preesure was to high, but one time they did the same thing when I was 18 and I didn't gain weight, in fact I lost when I first started working ). But I got down back to my normal size when I started taking ephedrine hydrocloride. But lately I have noticed when I take a lot of pills they actually make me feeling queezy from taking too many or if I move fast my heart will pound and then having all those pills in my stomach will cause me to almost puke sometimes, but I wouldn't have taken so many if I haven't felt so groogy. Later on in the day if I take them, if I take less I feel better. Today I felt better than yesterday, then I felt queezy and weak, specially my back, I felt like I had flu symptoms. I swear I almost told them at work that I wanted to leave and then I was going to get check out for CFS or Eptein Barr. Then just a little later I felt GREAT. It's so strange but the flu-like symptoms or symptons resembling to them, happen much to often. I have no swollen glands in my neck, a least not any that are bad enough to even look swollen at all, nothing hurts in my neck or anything.

Thanks..

As diseases go thyroid isn't all that bad to have. Once you find a Dr. that has a clue about it, it is just a matter of finding the right dose of medication to keep you at your optimum level. Ephedrine hydrocloride doesn't sound too healthy to me. Check out my post below to the thyroid links. They have a TOP DOC list on the site and hopefully there is one near you. They are excellent hormone Dr.s.
