I am a college freshman and have been sick since last November. I constantly have headaches and I get off and on fevers. I am extremely tired no matter how much I sleep and when I get really worn down I start to shake, and the other symptoms worsen. I have seen many doctors and been tested for so many things (lupus, mono, thyroid, CFS, etc) but they are all normal. I have even gone to the Cleveland Clinic - but nothing has been found. If any of you have any ideas, PLEASE let me know. Thanks

Sometimes the dr.s will tell you your thyroid is normal when it really isn't. The usual TSH lab values that they use to determine that your thyroid is O.K. or not have been shown to not work for a lot of people. Find out your TSH lab value number if that is the test they did. If it is over "1" I would suggest that you get a TRH test to rule out thyroid altogether. Great thyroid site is Mary Shoman's thyroid site on about.com. Good luck.
