HI everyone,
I still am trying to find out if anyone with a stone still in the kidney experiences waves of nausea. I am having nausea, but no vomiting. Some days I feel very tired and have NO energy. Then, in about 4-5 days, it will settle down and I will be better again. This has happened 2-3 times now and it's starting to worry me. I know for a fact that I have a 7mm stone in left kidney. Sometimes, my back feels tender and sore. But it is this nausea feeling that is getting to me. Please, anyone, if you have experienced this, let me know. I know that nausea goes along with the passing of a stone, but what about when it is still in the kidney. Could a minute piece of the stone "break off" and be passing without me knowing it and causing this nausea. Help!

i would call your doctor or urologist and ask him/her. just tell them what you've been experiancing and find out from them. i know i didn't start throwing up until my kidney stone was passing. but that's what i would do.

I was really nauseated last week but I am not anymore. My right side has been bothering me for about 2 weeks now. I honestly did not know that you can get nauseated when a stone is passing!
