Our families live profoundly changed last Thursday. My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with ALL. Pre-b type. We are waiting on the chromosome tests. This is like living in a bad dream. I feel so bad for her it brings tears to my eyes. We are starting a journey into uncertainty. Many prayers are being offered on her part. She spent 4 days in the hospital and is home now. I have read many accounts of people whom have traveled this road before me. This is definitly life changing and problems you have before seem so little now.
She has four older brothers that will keep her spirits up. She also has friends whom care. She is in the high risk category but also in the high prayer category.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I wish you, your family and especially your daughter all the best- although I know my thoughts don't mean much. I'll keep her in my prayers! Despite her being high risk you should never let it bring her down, always be optimistic.. the battle with cancer is fought and won every day! Also, its much more than just drugs that aid in recovery, ones mental state and attitude have A LOT to do with it. I'm speaking as someone who knows, although I'm young I've dealt with this before.. and i'm here.

I am sorry to hear about your daughter. I know that the future will be difficult time for you and your family. However, please keep your spirit and don't give up, the time now is different with the time when your brother was diagnosed. The medical knowledge is much more promising now. I wish the doctors could find the proper treatment for your daughter.
