Though the section is quite new, these are currently the top rated treatments at Remedyfind.com for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS; CFIDS; M.E.). Remedyfind is an unbiased (unsponsored), non-commercial, international site that allows individuals and healthcare professionals to rate the effectiveness of the different treatments they have used for specific health conditions - including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
The first number after the treatment name is the overall rating score; 1 = lowest / 5 = highest (the overall score averages the ratings for: effectiveness; lack of side effects; ease of use; cost effectiveness). The second number (the one in parenthesis) shows the number of individual ratings (based on remedies that have received 3 or more ratings).
IMMUNE / NEUROLOGICAL SUPPORT
Homeopathy 4.9 (3)
Whey protein supplements 4.4 (3)
Probiotics (Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium etc.) 3.8 (3)
FATIGUE
Meditation 4.9 (3)
Reiki 4.4 (3)
Magnesium 4.1 (7)
NADH (Enada) 4 (5)
Malic Acid 4 (4)
Vitamin B-12: Injections (Cyanocobalamin) 3.8 (5)
Provigil etc. (Modafinil) 3.3 (4)
Prozac etc. (Fluoxetine) 3.3 (3)
Acupuncture 2.5 (5)
Obviously these ratings reflect the opinions of only a small number of people - and what works for one person will not necessarily work for another - but the hope is that over time the most generally effective treatments will begin to show themselves.

I am curious what your ratings were based on. I had Chronic Fatigue for years and also found that the homeopathy was the solution for me. I am so thatkful that I did find something that worked for me.

Hi,
The ratings are given by patients like you and me (I too have had CFS for years). All the site does is provide lists of treatments - from prescription medications to alternative therapies and nutritional supplements, and patients rate the ones they have tried. You give a number rating from 1 - 5 (5 being the highest) for that treatment's effectiveness, lack of side-effects, ease of use etc.. You also select the dosage, how long you used the treatment, and then write a little review of your experience. Your input would certainly be helpful to other patients if you have a little time. Thanks, Brett
