What do you reckon is the effect of stopping drugs after angioplasty? I want to bin atenelol aspirin and plavix. Is this really really likely to send me off on a bender? Can anyone tell that I have stopped?

I had angioplasty about a year ago. My doc stated it was OK to stop plavix after 6 months post procedure. Plavix helps prevent platelet buildup at the site of the lesion and is recommended with aspirin. I continue taking aspirin and other meds for lowering heart rate and lower BD.

The underlying cause for your condition my require continued treatment ie high blood pressure, etc. You may be the first to realize that you have stopped.
