My family practice Dr. diagnosed me with CFS this morning. I do have fatigue, but my worst symptoms are horrible neck cramps, nausea, tingling on the back of my tongue, and pain under my jaw bone (especially on the right.) Has anyone heard of those symptoms being associated with CFS? I have had my thyroid and adrenal glands checked, and I've had lots of tests like, EGD, barium swallow, upper GI, small bowel series, chest x-rays, full panel blood work, and urine tests. Everything is normal and I've been suffering since July 2001. Thanks for any help!

Everyone with CFS will have different symtoms. Sometimes its weather that can make the difference. I myself have been diagnosed with CFS/FMS since Feb 2000. My pains are in my legs,knees,back,shoulders and arms. sometime s I can't pick up a coffee cup. I also walk with a cane and wear braces on my legs. Now all these symtoms didn't come all at one time, I've been having thiese symtoms since 92. I have even had black outs. The doctors say they don't no what it is but I've had all the test, and still have had no results. All I can say is get on the internet and look for medical boards. hello, just wanted to know if it could be possible you may have lyme or co-infections (caused by tick bite)especially redleg. I was dx for 8 years with fms and cfs. I had really bad pain in my left knee, even had surgery on it. I was also walking with a cane etc.
Turns out I tested positive for lyme disease, babesia, bartenella and encepelitis. I know it sounds confussing. I am treating for it now and hope to see some improvement.
